The Kayah State Investment Committee (KIC) meeting (6/2019) was convened in Kayah State Government Office dated on 15th August, 2019. U L Phaung Sho, Chairman of KIC and Chief Minister for Kayah State and members of KIC, U Kyaw Than Lin, Director for Kayah State Government Office, U Kyaw Thu, Director for Kayah State Development Office attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the Kayah State Investment Committee (KIC) members screened the endorsement application “Providing services by construction of bungalow resort” from Pegu Travels Company Limited and decided to accept it. For KIC Website and Data Portal, KIC members decided to launch officially KIC website and Data Portal dated on 23rd August, 2019.
The Kayah State Investment Committee had already approved 14 businesses with the total pledge amount of US$ 3.181943 million and kyat 15.25 million since KIC was organized. Those approved 14 businesses are created 604 local job opportunities.
