A dialogue session for the development of agriculture, livestock and MSMEs sectors in Kayah State was held at State Hall in Loikaw, Kayah State on 12th December 2022.
At the dialogue, U Zaw Myo Tin, the Chairman of the Kayah State Investment Committee delivered the opening speech. After that, the Director for the Kayah State office of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration clarified the topic of “Sustainable Socio-Economic Development”, and the Director for the Kayah State office of Small Scale Industries Department also explained the topic of “Development of Small Scale Industries”. Moreover, Assistant Director for the Kayah State office of Department of Agriculture discussed the topic of “Good Agricultural Practices to be Followed to Produce Safe and High Yielding Crops”, the Director for the Kayah State office of Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department with the topic of “Production of High Value Livestock Products”, and the Director for the Kayah State office of Directorate of Industrial Supervision and Inspection with the topic of “Group Formation and Business Planning”.
Furthermore, the representatives at the dialogue discussed the barriers for the development of MSMEs and made recommendations for relevant sectors.
